Caculating Business days

I'm hoping someone can help me.
I need to caculate how many business days a item is open. I have the start date and the end date but those dates can span over the weekend and it throws off my calculations.

Glen:

Look in Excel Help for the function NETWORKDAYS().
You may need to install the 'Analysis ToolPak' add-in (from the menu bar select Tools>Add-ins...)
