Botton-right Sum/Average/Count Toolbar

The toolbar application that allows you to right-click on the bottom right toolbar of Excel to return a count/average/sum for a highlighted selection of text has mysteriously disappeared from Excel on my computer. Could someone please tell me how I can get this application back on my workbooks?

Tools|Options and select View tab. Make sure the "Status Bar" check box is checked off.
