auto scaling in excel

I have a user that puts together about 60 charts in Excel and keeps getting memory errors, I heard if I turn off auto scaling this will help but I can't figure how to turn off this option. Will this help and can you assist with any other options. She is using a nt4 machine with office 97.

You need to add a key in the registry.
Using RegEdit, go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Office/8.0/Excel/Microsoft Excel

Add a string key called:
AutoChartFontScaling

Set the value to: 0

Reboot and hopefully that fixes the problem.
