I need to be able to select the prices, and increase them by a cetain percent (5% example). How can I do this without having to add another row or formula?

Use Paste Special Values to multiply your prices
by 1.05.

I am using Excel 2000, I could not find an option that said "Paste Special Values" only Paste Special?

Values" is one of the options found on the Paste
Special dialog. Specifically, here are the steps:
1. Enter 1.05 into an unused cell and Copy it.
2. Select the cells containing your prices.
3. Choose the Edit | Paste Special... menu command
4. Click the "Values" and "Multiply" radio buttons.
5. Press [ OK ].
