VLOOKUP function not recalculating

I am having trouble with the vlookup function not recalculating when the source data table is updated. I have calculation on automatic. The wierd thing is that when you hit F2 to edit the formula and the <enter> it updates. It is a big file and I cannot go through and do this every time an update is needed or worry that the file is wrong and not recalculated correctly
