Barry --
I suppose you really don't want to multiply a name with a number.
The COUNTIF in "subject line" seems to suggest that you want to count but what?
Perhaps you can post 10 rows of your data along with the expected result(s).

Thank you for responding . . . YES, I do . . . I sell multiple lines of phones, and in Column G, I have the different Names of the phones going down . . . for instance on Day 1 I sell 23 "3390", 14 "P280", 50 "FREE" - - For instance, the commissions are different for different phones . . . Also, to muddy the water, we sell phones in groups, at times . . . For Instance, 3 phones the same, OR 3 different phones on one order . . . Each row represents an order, so going across, I'm trying to multiply the amount of phones, by the phone NAME, by the commission . . . UNLESS someone has a better idea. I'm kinda new at this as you can tell.
Thank you again
