Percentage formula

I've tried for over an hour to figure out how to put in a formula using a percentage. Here's what I want to do: I need 10% of the number in B3 to show up in B8, 18% of B3 to show up in B9, etc. Please help!

I think perhaps you have to remember that "ten percent" is just a verbal way of saying 'one tenth' or, mathematically, .1 so that cell b8 should contain a formula (no quotes) "=B3*.1" and b9 contains "=b3*.18" and so on.
