need custom WORKDAY function or the like

I use the WORKDAY function to forecast days for regular Mon-Fri employees. ex.=WORKDAY(DATE(2001,1,1),50)will return the 50th workday from 1/1/01 excluding Sat&Sun dates.

I now have employees who work Saturdays and have another weekday off instead. Kicking around some ideas, but don't want to build long lists of dates with vlookups and yes/no flags. Would like to create something that would work in various weekly work schedules.
Any ideas?

there should be a downloadable add-in that'll do this...

Here's an excerpt: "If you want to add some number of days to a date,
but exclude weekends and holidays, you can use the WORKDAYfunction, which is part of the Analysis Tool Pack."
