Hello Mr. Excel.

Can the the table array syntax in the vlookup fuction look up data in a completely different file.

Howdy,

Yes, open both files and highlight the ranges. When you close the liked file, you should notice a file path stored in the formula. When you open the file with the lookup you should be prompted to update your external links...
