Linking the date to sums

I need to link the date to a sum, whatever the date happens to be without entering it into the worksheet

=SUM(D1:F1) & " " & TEXT(TODAY(),"mmmm dd, yyyy")
Put this in the cell that you want to sum, change the range! JSW
