Help!!- Formula Wrapping Question Within a Cell

I have an extremely long formula that I would like to wrap seeing it on two lines within one cell.
The Alignment "Wrap Text box is checked. I have tried different text alignments. I have also tried to do a Alt-Enter force another line. No matter what I do it will only shoe one line. My row height is plenty. I have looked through every setting in excel and can't seem to find what is wrong. I have used wrapping before and have never seen this. I need an expert.

Hi Ted,
Text wrapping in a cell (you mentioned Text box, but I assume you meant CELL text control) only applies to the Value property (contents) of a cell, not the formula in the cell. Fortunately, the formula displayed on the formula bar does wrap, but apparently this is not what you are after.
It is possible to have a cell formula automatically display in a designated text box on the worksheet, in which wrapping is always on. If you are interested in code for this, let me know.
Also, if you are just trying to get the formula to display in a convenient way for printing purposes, simply put an apostrophe in front of the equal sign so that it is interpreted as a text string rather than a formula. Then it will wrap in the cell, and the apostrophe will not appear in the printout.

It worked you are correct in what I needed with the printing of a formula.
If ever I can help you out with anything....please let me know. Excel is my weakest....thanks for the help!!!!
