Excel equivalent of the Lotus #OR# function?

My question is pretty much in the title.
Is there a direct equivalent of the Lotus #OR# function in Excel?

I've looked at the =OR(logical1,logical2...) function but it seems very long winded for what was a very simple command in Lotus.
