Diff. Format visible in Formula Bar

I have a large spreadsheet which contains data I have cut & pasted from other's work. I have changed format for entire sheet to TNR, but there are many cells which, even though they print and show on screen as TNR, appear in the formula bar as another format (probably Arial). Any way to fix? (Know I probably shouldn't care but it bugs me & I wonder if its bloating the file).

Hi Victor,

The font format used to display cell contents in the formula bar is that which is specified in the Tools -> Options -> General Tab -> Standard font dropdown. This sets the font for row and column headings, etc., as well. It does not significantly increase the size of the file to have this font different from what you are using as your cell format.
