Dates Formula

I have a list of regestration munbers in column A and the lease start date in column B , In column C I need a formula which will return the regestration number only if it is between dates 01/12/00 and 28/02/01 , Can anyone help, it`s driving me crazy!!

Emma,

There isn't a single formula that would return which would return more than one registration number. I reckon that there will be zero or more reg numbers to return that fall between two dates.

I think it's better to use PivotTables or Data|Table.
If you insist of having formulas to do this, post about 20 rows of data that you have in A and B.

Worked out file is underway to you. It contains an Advanced Filter solution along with an elaborate system of formulas that does the same thing as the former.
