Date Formula Help Plz

Does anyone know how to resolve this problem...
A1 is May 2000
B1 in 48 (this is like 48 months)
C1 This needs to be May 2004
So what the user needs to do is add the month and year to cell A1 and then the duration for say loan into cell B1, then cell C1 does the calution and gives in the answer in this case May 2004

In C1, type the following formula:
=DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1)+B1,1)
That should work.

=EDATE(A1,B1)
