Condiional Formating

Can anyone pass on to me the fromula required to get a full row within my sheet to format in a grey background say, based on the the conditional contents of one cel in the row. I would like to copy the conditional formating criteria over the full sheet.

Select an entire row BEFORE applying the Conditional
Format, and use a "Formula Is" condition. For
example, after selecting rows 1:10 entering
=$A1=1 will apply the specified patten these
rows if column A contains a 1.
