cell formatting

I need to take the info in 2 adjoining cells and put them into another cell without changing the format. Example: info in b1 and b2 copied to a1 in the same format on top of each other. I know I can concatenate but I don't want it on the same line, it needs to be on top of each other like it was when it was 2 separate cells. Any ideas? If it's not too obvious, I am a novice :)

Enter the formula, =B1&CHAR(10)&B2, into cell A1
and then format cell A1 using the Format | Cells...
menu command checking "Wrap text" on the Alignment
tab.
