Calculate on first cell >0

I create a monthly report based on a template that includes all months with a percentage calculation at the bottom based on the diff between Jan and the latest month. The monthly figures pull in from another sheet, so they contain a cell reference rather than being blank. How do I look up the column for the first figure greater than 0 instead of trying to say IF>0 12 times?

Why don't you just use the current date, =TODAY(),
to identify the proper month?
