adding and subtracting

I want to know how to add all columns going down.
With a total on the bottom.

I also need to know how to subtract each row going across.

I also realize this is a very simple request. It seems
I don't operate in the simple world. But to me this is beyond me. The wizard in excell does not seem to deal in simple math, and the online sites just don't understand. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced. :}
