UNmerge cells

Can someone please advise me how to UNmerge cells that have been "merged & centred" from the toolbar

right-click on the cell, choose Format Cell, uncheck Merge Cells on the alignment tab.

The easiest way is to select the merged cell, right click, go to format cells -> alignment -> and under the text control, de-select the merge cell check box.

Activate merged cells that you want to unmerge.
Activate Format|Cells.
Uncheck Merged Cells under Text Control on the Alignment tab.
