Trying to line up figures in cells

Hallo, I am a novice user. I would like to know how you line up figures in a column, which are the result of a formula with those entered without a formula. I have to enter some zeros in some cells and I can't make them line up with figures which were produced from a formula. Would appreciate help. Thanks, Richard

Hi Richard
Hilight the cells you want aligned and go to Format>Cells and select the "Alignment" tab.
By default numbers are right aligned and text left aligned unless changed.

BTW To enter only zeros in a cell you will need to format the cell as Text or Special>Zip code these too can be found under Format>Cells.
