text formats from one sheet to another

is it possible to make the text on one sheet be the same as the text on another sheet.

ie. if the text in sheet1!A1 is bold then can i make the text in sheet2!A1 bold as well.

Can it be done with the use of a formula, i currently have =sheet1!A1 pulls the text through but not the format.

please help

Hi Steven,

Just select all cells on Sheet1 (Ctrl-a), click on the Format Painter button on the Standard toolbar, then go to Sheet2 and click on cell A1. This should set every cell's format on Sheet2 the same as on Sheet1.
