Sum problem

Got a strange problem

I've got column of figures and I've summed them at the bottom. Fine. But when I highlight them and look at the status bar and the "sum=" bit it gives me a different number.

I've check all the cells and the numbers are numbers but it still show diffent values.

Why?????

Hi Ben

This is most likely due to the format of the cells, in particular the Total cell. If Format all cells to display say 4 decimal places, the Status bar will probably show the same.
