Sort problem

Dear all,
I have problem sorting columns and rows. Whatever I do I always receive message "merged cells should be indenticaly sized". I can not size them indenticaly because I have different dates relating to different works which are grouped by projects. I would like to sort them by work date but it seems impossible.

I hope I understand the problem.
This error message appears if you are trying to sort a column that has cells in him that have been merged with other cells from other columns. If you unmerge them it will work (in theory), just select the whole column and goto Format-Cells, Alignment and uncheck Merge. Try to sort it now.
