slanted border not viewable

I have formatted the border to be slanted. I also changed the angle of the text to match. The problem is that the border disappears when I enter text. I have tried to widen and lengthen cells, but neither seems to work.

Is there a way I can have slanted cells and text with the borders showing on each cell?

If you format your border to be an outline of the cell, and you format the alignment of your text to be at an angle, then the sides of the cell border will be at the same angle.
