password protect

I would like to protect the entire work sheet with the exception of a couple cells? Can this be done?

yes it can and quite simply too, select the cells you want to leave unprotectde and goto the formats cells thingy, under protection uncheck the box that has LOCKED in it, (sounds back to front but you trying to unlock cells from a protected sheet). now you can lock the shee and hey presto.
