Insert text in front of existing numbers

I have a column of store numbers (e.g. 1234, 5678, etc.) and I need to put a code in front of each of them (e.g. XYZ1234, XYZ5678). Can anyone help?

Use a custom cell format.

example "XYZ"0000

this would make a cell with 1234 display XYZ1234, yet still enable you to do math or sort or whatever on the 1234
