FORMATTING NUMBER CELLS WITH A + SIGN

One of my co-workers has a need to display positive numbers in a worksheet with a + sign, just like you can format negative numbers with a - sign.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible and still keep the field as a numeric field?

Custom format the cell using... +0;-0;0
