Format Cells

Hi Everyone

I have a spreadsheet where at the top i enter in some numbers. What I want it to do is once those numbers are entered it looks in a table and formats the background to a certain colour, it can be any colour.

So if I enter a 2 I want it to look in the table and format all the cells with the number 2 in to a certain colour.

How can i do this?

Hi.

This might be too simple an answer for what you want to do but, try using the conditional formattin option (under the format menu) to set up the different situations and coresponding formats.
