Conditional Formatting for an entire row

Posted by GLITZ on February 27, 2001 6:07 AM

I have a listing of projects. The info for each project goes from left to right and covers about 15 columns.

I want to set something up that will change the fill color of a projects row based on what is in the 3rd column (Project types).

Project types are either 1,2,3, or 4....

Any ideas?
Thank You

1. Select an entire row such as 3:3
2. Choose the Format Conditional Formatting...
menu command
3. Create a "Formula Is" condition using
=AND($C3>=1,$C3<=4)
4. Using Copy/Paste Special... Formats copy this
format to any other rows as necessary

...One more thing

Just realized that you may be thinking that you
can set 4 such conditional formats. You can't --
just 3. :-{
