Adding hours and minutes

Have JUST found your site. I have to do a spread sheet taking total hours and minutes worked each day, giving a weekly total and then a totalfor the month. No matter how I try I cannot get it right... i.e. 7 hr 27 8 hr 13 etc.

You just need to format the cells. Go to the Format menu and click, Cells. Choose the Number tab and click time. Then select one of the formats that has seconds.
