This is a Windows issue not Excel... Re-Load Windows..[NT]
Alan is this a common occurence every time you start Excel, or is this a one time message? If it does it all the time then you have a problem with either windows or excel. If this is repeatable under a set of circumstances you might try searching the Microsoft Knowledge Base for "Excel invalid page fault". I have run into similar things in the past that were covered there and the fix was not always to try reloading Windows.
If it is a one time message that you cannot repeat then there is no way to know for sure what caused it...basically Windows or Excel ate something that didn't agree with it ;)

Ger is the files are not linking, to run excel billions of coded files are used in larger exe files. thats simple version all mess up so cant run, like bad VBA script fails kinda same
Stak Dump is where the processed data hit a brick wall like NO File or cant procedd the data dont understand or is crap code
Billions of reansons all MCSE guy me also say these codes are misleadings and MS WWW page hints at this..
Thus re-load windows it excel causing it but windows related, if you can re load excel to be safe...
