gwxl97.xla could not be found

Can someone please shed some light here.
Everytime I press the save button on the toolbar, I
get the following error message:
'GWXL97.xla' could not be found. Check the spelling
of the file name, and verify that the location is
correct.
If you are trying to open the file from your list of
most recently used files on the File menu, make sure
that the file has not been renamed, moved or deleted.

For anyone else who finds this, the problem is caused by Novell GroupWise.
First, the close button is dimmed in Excel after GroupWise is installed.
Then if you delete the file GWXL97.xla, the close button is available again, but other problems occur.
The way to restore things to normal is to:
Start Microsoft Excel.
On the View menu, point to Toolbars and click Customize.
On the Toolbars tab, click Worksheet Menu Bar and then click Reset.
Also reset the Standard toolbar by clicking Standard and then clicking Reset.
Click Close.
