how to insert formula into a table's cell

I know this is technically not an "Excel" question, but...

I have inserted a table in Word 2000 (not an excel spreadsheet, but a table). One cell in the table has a quantity, and another cell has a price. How can I insert a formula into a third cell that would multiply the price times the quantity?

Thanks,
Kevin

IN 97

Don't know if this will help, but in 97 if you are in the cell in you table you want the formula in, go to the table menu and then to formula. You can put in
=product(LEFT) or
=product(ABOVE) etc

The help file implicity states using excel in Word would most likily be easier.

good luck
