Date Conversions

I am working with large quantities of data (e.g., avg. 20-50,000 rows) and I need a quick way to convert dates in a column from MM/DD/YYYY to YYYY/MM/DD format. This is genealogy data so most years are pre-1900. Any help would be geatly appreciated!

I might be missing something, but you could select the whole column, clicking on the letter, and Format_Cells_Number_Custom and type yyyy/mm/dd

any good??

sorry didn't read the question properly

you could add another column and put
=RIGHT(A1,4)&"/"&LEFT(A1,5)
and copy down
it's not that quick, but the only thing i can think of at 7:15am
