Date changes

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am saving invoices within excel. I need to have different dates on the invoices. When I save it and open it up again, it changes back to today's date. Any thoughts or ideas?? Thanks.

More than likely, you have the =Today() formula in the cell that contains the date. You can either take the formula out of the cell and manually type the date for each invoice, or you can leave the formula on your template so that the current date appears when the invoice is first created, then save the invoice as a new file, then click copy, edit, paste special, values. This will change the formula to the correct date, then save the invoice again...
You could probably ask one of these guys to write a macro for you that would do all of this for you with the push of a button...

Thanks alot for the help. Now being a newbie to the whole thing, how do I shut off the =TODAY within that cell??
