Converting formulas to values?

I have a large workbook that, as of today, has 19 columns & 280 rows of different & complicated formulas in each column. New rows are added every day. Would I save disc space if I converted the formulas to values & if so, how can I do that?

Copy all the range and paste it over itself with the PASTE SPECIAL command. Select VALUE from the PASTE SPECIAL window.

I do believe this would save disk space.

Wow! What prompt & informative service! Thank you! I'm a new Excel user (formerly a 1-2-3 user) & I'm very happy to have found this site. Have a good day.

Converting: put icon on your toolbar

I do this so often, the icon saves time too. Looks like a 12 on a clipboard shape.

Re: Converting: put icon on your toolbar

Thank you Loren. Where can I find that icon & how do I add it to my toolbar?
