merging cells

Hello
I have an excel worksgheet with 1 column. In it I have several entries that span 2 0r 3 rows. I want to merge this data so that each entry is on a new row...
Can anyone help please

Use Data - Text to columns to split cells, choose delimiter, ie Space or comma etc then choose destination.
