List contents of a cell in a column when there is a change to the value

This is probably a no brainer for a lot of you, but I can't seem to get anything I try to work. I am trying to make a list of unique numbers in a column of data. i also need to list the corresponding text in the adjacent cell. Can you help me?

Apply Advanced Filter to the column from which you want to extract uniques numbers, then retrieve with a VLOOKUP formula corresponding text entries.
