Extracting Data from a cell

Hello to all! I have a file containing 4 columns that was originally saved to notepad. When I copy and paste the data into excel, it places the 4 colums of data in column A. It looks exactly like this:

1 ,"001 ","06", 111712.89

The commas act as the column break. Is there any way to place this data into 4 colums? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try Data|Text to Columns. -Aladin

Select the column you need to seperate.
On the menu select: Data/Text to columns
Use the comma as the delimiter.
