cutting text out of a list of ceels with combined text and numbers

I have a download from SAP where the customer number and name is included in the same column/cell. I want to split this up so that I only have the numbers in one column and the names in another

At present I manually cut and paste, But for a list of 200 customers it is tiresome, How can I automate this task

Have a look at Data|Text To Columns, or use a formula-based solution.

If you want the latter, post a few examples from your SAP download.
