Monthly Labels

I have inherited a graph that displays every third month w/ a label on the X axis. How can I get a label to display every month? Everymonth is represented by a bar in the graph. Thanks, this is a great site and everyone here is extremely supportive, great community spirit.

Hi John

Left click on one of the Bars, so that all are selected. Now right click and select "Format data series" then the "Data Labels" tab and then check the "Show Label" box.

Thanks for the reply Dave, much appreciated. The problem is not with the bar labels but with the X axis labels. They only appear quarterly, as opposed to monthly. I am wondering if it is an option available only when the graph was built?

is the frequency of the labels determined by the size of the font? try reducing the font size and see if the other months appear

John, right-click on the X-axis and choose the
Format Axis... command. Click on the Scale tab.
Change the value of the X-axis Major unit to 1.
