Line chart to hide data and show one data point different

Hi All: I am trying to build a line chart that will have the data table below to show some data. I would like to show three rows of data on the bottom and chart only two rows (Actual and Budget ib the ex. below). Also, the last column is a YTD sum of all the other data points and it is completely out of whack with the rest of the data. Here is a sample of the data:
Jan Feb March ...YTD
Actual Exp
Budgeted
Difference
Any help would br greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Pat

There are two things you could try.

1. Scale the Y axis so that the data that you don't want to see will be off the chart.

2. Set the marker and line colors to the background color of your chart so that no one can see them. Do the same to the legend entry.

Thanks Mike. Both those ideas work. I have monthly data that adds up to a YTD total. When I include the YTD data it screws up the scale. Is ther a way in Excel 97 to put the monthly data on a line chart and the YTD in a column chart within the same chart?
Thanks
