Items Drawn on Charts Disappear!

Whenever I use the drawing tools to add text boxes, auto shapes, etc., they disappear unless I click somewhere off the chart. The ORder Tools for bringing the item forward or to the front do not have any effect. Is this an Excel bug?

You will want to click on the chart first and then add
your drawing objects. That way, the drawing objects become
objects associated with the chart, and not the worksheet.
