Graphs eating memory

I have Excel version# 97 SR-2, I have 32 graphs in one file and its eating my memory. Is there anything in Excel or on my desktop I can change. I have 128 mgs of memory already - which should be more than plenty. I am thinking its an excel setup.

Well from my experience if you put that many graphs in a single spread sheet, you are going to be a very big memory hog. I have limited my graphs to 16 per workbook, using line graph with each graph containing the full 32000 lines of data. I now have 512 Meg of ram and no problems.
