Dual-colored individual bars in EXCEL bar chart

I have a bar chart of a project timeline. The X axis
has the dates. The Z axis will eventually have task
names for each bar. The bars (cylinders, actually) run
horizontally. I need each individual bar, which
represents one task, to have either two colors
(one color representing the whole project timeline
dates, and another color representing the dates of the
specific task) OR each bar appearing on the chart only
for the specific task dates. Anyone know how to do this?

Also, how can I change the Z axis bar names?
They're currently numbered from one to twelve.
