Printing Worksheet Formulas

Posted by Daniel on October 17, 2001 7:23 AM

Does anyone know how I can print the formulas
that are embedded in the cells of my worksheet(s)?

I have applied for a copyright of a golf betting
calculator using Excel & the U.S. Patent office
wants to see my calculations. They weren't satisfied
with copies of the worksheets.

I would love to tell them it's a secret, but that
won't fly.

Any help would be appreciated.

You could hit control and tilde (~) to expose your formulas.
I'd also suggest going to page set up and selecting gridlines and row and column headings under the sheet tab.

Go into your spreadsheet, select tools, options and at the bottom left of the screen that comes up - tick formulas.

This will show up all the formulas you have used on the spreadsheet.

You will need to select all (Cell above row 1) and double click between 2 columns (at the letters)when the dividing arrow shows, otherwise some of the column widths may not show all of the formula. You may have to reduce the print size to show all the detail. (File, page setup,{Page Tab} adust to say 75%). It may also help to show the row and column headings in the {sheet Tab}.

Hope you can follow this.
