This download includes a large demo.txt file for you to use with PowerPivot. This file includes dates in MM/DD/YYYY format. These dates will not import if your local date setting is DD/MM/YYYY. You end up with some values that import as the wrong date (January 2 gets imported as February 1) and then other records where the date field is blank (January 23 is treated as an invalid date and is left blank). If you run into this problem, this text file has the dates in DD/MM/YYYY format.
