Hi friends..once again i thank all of you for your warm replies and support to my earlier thread and response to it. :)

Friends i am little stuck in vlookup when it comes to multiple instance of data with different value but same reference no..i will give you example to explain it better...here i go...
Now in sheet A
i have data as in column A (considere it as reference number)
1111
1111
2222
2222
3333
4444
4444
4444
With corresponding values in Column B as,
2
2
5
7
10
3
4
5

Now the problem is that when ever i try a simple vlookup in different sheet with same Reference no ..just as i quoted above..it returns value as
2
2
5
5(instead of 7 as it reads same reference no so it dosent not return next value)
10
3
3
3

what i want it to return...also the first and second tirst instances of the value...in sheet 1.....
I know its possible...but m nt good at advance formula...can someone..explain me as how can i do this with simple formula :)
Awating for your kind reply...
My i dont want to return in same row but in same column next to next...thankx
