IF condition

i want when i type some value like (HRZ, VRT) in D7 then value change in D8. at present i am doing this with 2 values (HRZ, VRT) then its working fine. but i am unable to add 3rd value. can anyone help me to add more then 2 or 4 value. like(TAT, WAT etc.). i am using given below formula.

=IF(D7="HRZ",(1),IF(D7="VRT",(2)))

Glad it works.
This solution is more versalite as you can extend the table and have as many lookups as you need.
